About Us

Eastside Church of Christ is made up of group of Christians united in love, worship, and service to God (Matt 22:37).  

We strive to follow the commands and examples set forth in the New Testament, and to imitate the original church as established by Jesus Christ as closely as possible.  Our objective is to "restore" the New Testament church in our time-to determine from the Bible what the church was like in the beginning, and to be like that. We believe this is a worthy and reverent goal.

As you can see, we want to be a Bible­-centered church. And we try to be. Yet we are also human, and as such realize that our practices are sometimes colored by habit, preference, tradition, or convenience.

Our Mission is to love God, to love our neighbors, to spread the "good news" of Salvation, and to live our lives in a manner that reflects Jesus, and help everyone get to heaven. We strive to live this mission both within the walls of our building, and also in our daily lives in our community.

We also try to spread the good news of salvation through Jesus Christ, and to practice loving and caring for others as he commanded. (Matt 22:38)
